Drop off is easy but due to current road conditions, it is best to drive in and park at the car park before peak traffic conditions.(Go up the ramp located way before the office itself, and enter the up-ramp car park BEFORE the AVIS car park. They are not at the same place. Be informed.)
Positive experience at this branch. We hired a mystery car from Adelaide-Melbourne. We were very happy to receive a Nissan Xtrail. Everything went smoothly. Upon returning the car we missed a turn and our 10 minute trip turned into a 40 minute trip. This made us 15 late dropping off the car. Luckily the employee Waqir was understanding to the situation and waved the extra fee that could have applied. This left me feeling relaxed and satisfied with the whole experience. Will definitely use Hertz again due to this whole experience. My only advice is give yourself a extra hour when returning, as the peak traffic times in Melbourne are very busy. Be sure to be in the correct lane as soon as possible to avoid being taken on a massive detour also.
