Older property but clean, good air con, great central location, inside the free transport zone, just a few yards downhill to tourist office, trams stops and town hall, uphill to trendy brewery/bar.What mainly let it down were the breakfasts. Even allowing that it was a bankholiday weekend and the hotel was full there was a confused layout with hot and cold drinks in a separate mezzanine area from the food in the bar, with several steps to negotiate. There was frequently no milk for hot drinks, or cups (after the first day we took ours down from the room), and when there were cups many of them were still dirty despite going through the dishwasher, which only added to the problem.Hot food trays were usually missing at least one staple for a cooked breakfast, and were stripped as soon as they were filled by guests who had been waiting. The fresh fruit buffet was not much better and tucked in the corner next to the hot food, so people waiting for hot food to be replaced blocked the path of anyone trying to get to the cold. The age of the hotel obviously dictates the layout, we were on the first floor, but on exiting the lifts had to carry our luggage down a small set of steps, a small inconvenience but still a pain. On a positive note on the reception desk both the girls were friendly and professional, Emily was a real diamond and unceasingly helpful and polite despite being under seemingly constant pressure.

Great location close to Chinatown. I stayed for 1 night for work in a queen sized bed room on level 1. The hotel room was clean and more spacious than what I expected. There's a small pool, a jacuzzi, 2 treadmill and a couple other gym equipments... Nothing out of the ordinary but they do the basics really well

Clean. New fittings. And inexpensive. There are no frills but you aren't paying for any. Just what you need. Ideal for work.

Friendly staff. Very accomodating with change of dates and check in times. Valet car parking and comfortable rooms. Fantastic location. Rooms were a bit dated, but would definitely visit again due to convenience of location and ease of booking.

Room was a good size and staff were helpful. Good basic hotel if you don't want bells and whistles. Shower was a bit mouldy and the pillows weren't the best. But a great location and quiet at night.
