My card was not returned from ATM machine and I went inside to seek for a help. There was a line and I waited but it seemed it would take long. I stepped up and asked if there was any other staff that could help as I was really in hurry. However, the staff said in a cold tone "Just wait". I waited again but still not sign of getting the help soon, asked once again and she made some comments on me like she was annoyed! Your service is nowhere near good, so unkind and poorly done.
i went to Melbourne central branch to know about my LMI and loan account details, but sad to say none of the staff was first helpful forget about knowledge of product. the customer support lady tried to speak to their lender officer but as she doesnt know a thing about it, directed me to speak to customer support via. phone for assistance. such a poor service and staff with little to zero knowledge. ashamed of taking loan with this bank.
While I appreciate BoM hiring Winston who sadly only has one arm and one finger, and Sharon who can't see or hear, and let's not forget poor Rex the dog who is missing his back half of his body; maybe putting them as the only staff in your loan department wasn't the greatest idea...
When I went to the Melbourne central branch on a working day (Friday) and asked for details on investment loan interest in advance, I was directed to a person who pretended to have the knowledge but really did not. I was promised that I will get a call back on the query but I did not- possibly because she does not have the in-depth knowledge. One would expect a branch in such a location to have staff with some rudimentary knowledge. It is for this reason and for noncompetitive rates I may move my banking to another bank who are eager to get my business. Which way does Bank of Melbourne want to head?
