I ordered a run around bike at Christmas advising I was not experienced in assembly. It was delivered quickly, but there was no assembly guide. When sent a review email, i noted there was no guide.... they replied rudely saying they have guides on the website (obviously not very visible as I checked) and it was, basically my fault for not researching their site (both my partner and I did). It's 3 weeks later, the gears don't work properly, chain keeps coming off (it just did halfway down the street during rush hour), one of the silver handle bar caps came off, and the breaks are dubious at best. I'm paying for it to get fixed up at a bike shop. I could have gone to their store to get the bike fully assembled, I asked the guy if I should when first emailing before purchase. Now I have to spend my money to make their product usable, and dont feel i will get any help from them. It's really disappointing and i regret the purchase. on top of it I keep keeping promotional emails from them like some kind of joke. I should have read the reviews on google first.
The guys at Reid where fantastic. We brought a Vintage ladies bike from them last week and my daughter loves it. Great service, they let us test ride the bike and ask lot of questions. We loved the bike so much we brought another one this week. Thanks Reids!!!
I just bought my first bicycle at Reid cycles.I just found their sites today and went in just to see how they bikes looks like. Behold! I am really impressed because of how pretty the bikes comes with the basket holder and really cheap for the look and the style. I just bought one today itself. I can't wait to ride around MCG. I am a beginner in my mid life.I am really pleased.
Bought a bike from their website sight unseen (just relied on the reviews in various bike mags etc) , was happy with it. Now 6 months on and having clocked up literally several thousand kms on it- still stoked with it- fantastic bike.well made, ticks every box I could possibly have hoped for.
Love my vintage ladies bike. Ive been riding it for a year now and have rediscovered the joy of cycling. Recent service was also above and beyond. The mechanic tweaked some setting to give me more power and the improvement was immediate. Great work. Many thanks
