How this place is able to host international D.Js is a mystery. I came in to see Oliver Huntemann who played a unreal set, but to see him play again in this venue I think not. Everything about this place is just terrible. Avoid at all costs
Wouldnt let my friend in because he looked drunk, my friend had hot had any alcohol at all that day. So they wont let you in if you look intoxicated but dont have breathalysers or anything, maybe the club should invest in some at the door. Will not be coming back. Dont waste your money here. There a cheaper and better clubs around the same area
Last night me and some friends tried to get into True for New Years, 2 of my friends and myself were successful on entry but however one of my other friends was forced to step out of line because her learners permit had a hole in it which marked she had just got her Probationary licence. She had other ID cards with a photo, name and date of birth to prove her identity but the security at the door refused to look at them. Its sad because Im a promoter for this club and Im fully disgusted in the way the situation was handled. If True doesnt allow learners permits with marked holes by Vicroads in them, then True need to make that very clear on their Facebook page and in the event details! By the way my friend ordered an online ticket and deserves a refund!
Couldn't even get in the door, was completely sober and was told not today to me and all of my friends, but then they let in every guy behind us. We weren't acting loud or anything they just decided not to let us in. Wouldn't waste the time going here would rather try and have a good night in a dumpster
How this place keeps on getting booked for big name DJs never ceases to amaze me. You'd think with the amount of cash coming in they could afford to at least clean the place. Maybe the sticky floor, arthritic PA and lighting rig that needs to be put out to pasture are their idea of 'rustic charm'. Or maybe the bookings keep coming in along with the cash, and they don't give a toss. Save your cash and go some place else, if you have the choice.
