Just asking if an item can be discounted. They appeared to be rather defensive and plain rude.

An mix of new and eclectic kitchenware. Everything you never knew you needed for your kitchen.

Love this place. We went in for bee wax wrapping, and they had good choices. Also great place for Keepcups and a lot of other awesome things you need and want.

I visit this shop whenever I come to Melbourne. Good range of products for the aspiring home chef plus more. Lots of inspiration. I would give the shop 5 stars based on past visits but last weekends visit was strange. I didn't recognise any staff (young girl seemed to be in training and did ok and was helpful). So I asked to see their cultures (cheese...I've made mozzarella and fetta and haloumi no probs...I know how it works...i want to throw some bacteria in now...). I want to see how they're packaged and want to ask how to transport them back to Brisbane...are they temp sensitive? What do they look like...I like food...I'm curious... A short guy comes up in a mild huff and asks what i want. I want to make cheese with cultures...can you show me how packaged? He gets irate...he says "nah mate but ya gotta get citric acid and all tha otha stuff ya know like in the boxes here look". I told him no...I know about citric acid etc...I'm only interested in the cultures. So he keeps banging on about other cheese making ingredients and I tell him that i'm only interested in the cultures...he has no idea and he huffs and puffs like a loon. I try to explain to him what a culture is and that it is in no way related to citric acid or cheese salt etc but he bounds off like an angry hobbit to the back of the store. All i can imagine is that this shop is an equal opportunity employer and they've taken on this brain damaged tard and for that I commend them so I will visit again. Cheer up shorty. And learn how to nurture peoples passion for food, your store depends on it...how can you be angry and stupid while teaching people about food? When someone wants to learn about food from you and you don't feel utter joy for the privilege then its time you found another job shorty.

There is not much this store doesn't stock. Very helpful with return and/or exchange of an item. Love this place !!
