Fashionable Quality Clothes Just right All Here !^^
Nice selection for the men's and the staff seem to go out of their way to assist - which is great. Change rooms and general floor areas are clean.
If it wasn't for the abysmal quality of clothes everywhere in Melbourne I would avoid Zara.Yes they have some good pieces at ok pricing (though mind you there's some poor quality too) but the staff, while extraordinarily plentiful, can NEVER be found and, of you do happen across one always act like you just interrupted them at open heart surgery. Also the changing rooms are always super full and God help you if you need to get the staff to get you another size (it ain't happening). I assume if you ever got a zipper stuck or something you'd just die there of starvation because no one would help you out of your dress... perhaps that's why there's always such long queues. As if any of that wasn't enough, you frequently have to queue to pay for 15+ minutes, which I can't stand because paying should be quick. Not only that but they're stingy with bags and will try and put a ridiculous amount in just one, which isn't green because the bag snaps almost immediately and you need to go buy two more.Oh and how could I forget? If you somehow survived all of that prepare to be virtually frisked by their overzealous security who act like you're walking out of Cartier and not the fashion equivalent of a fast food chain. But do I buy from them? Yes. I sort of have to. I have a corporate job and yhey have ok looking stuff in my price range, but it's BEGRUDGINGLY, because as soon as I have more of a choice, I won't.
I always enter this store in a good mood and leave feeling depressed because of the staff! At the checkout the staff just glare at you and mumble a greeting, if any. I understand that they have to deal with difficult/rude customers but I am always friendly and polite and feel really deflated when it isn't reciprocated. I guess good customer service isn't a priority for Zara? I can see that this is a common theme amongst the reviews..
Very large Zara sprawled out on multiple floors. I didnt think the kids range was as large as other Zaras but it could have been an incorrect perception. Staff were all frantic on the ground floor so no one circulating in kids section to ask questions. Downstairs team were very lovely to my daughter when we purchased some goods so thats always a great thing.
