There's a lady here whose name I do not know.I come to her for books to heal my soul.Her choices so far have soothed me.She is a star birthed bibliotherapist, the enabler of my biobliophilia.I love her in the great, deep way two souls love with the only knowledge of the other being shared pain and nostalgia of places unvisited.She is the key to salvation from perpetual existential crisis.
I'm a lover of books. There are many bookstore in Melbourne but none of those have the upto date and vast collection of books as Robinsons has.The staff is friendly, the books are great and the price is fair. The science section is amazing.

LARGE BOOKSTORE IN EMPORIUM MELBOURNEHas a big range across fiction and non-fiction.A big selection of children's books.Staff are very helpful and quite knowledgeable about selecting books for a specific age... great for those uncles and aunties who aren't quite sure what their 8 year old niece can or wants to read :)Kids can sit on the thickly carpeted floor to pore over books at the rear of the store.Also has some toys and literature related merchandise.
I usually love the atmosphere and stock of this place but the staff's morals are out of line! I was in a rush and called ahead to put a book on hold. When I arrived, the ladies bagged the book and gave me a receipt within seconds. It wasn't until I got home that I discovered how faulty the product actually was. Three pages were torn off the spine and the paper itself was printed too large for the size of the book. You'd think someone working with books all day would spot a fault like that! Even worse, they had about 15 minutes between my phone call and collection to notice the fault and notify me. I'd say, take your business to Dymocks because the staff there actually exercise common sense! Last time I bought a thicker text and hadn't noticed a fault in the back cover, but the cashier did and offered me a discount immediately!
