Booked online for a carpark at the Spencer St/Little Collins St location.When I arrived used the code I was given to get in and found there was no parking. When I emailed to ask for a refund I was told to cancel the booking. If I had done this I would have lost the payment as it was not outside the 24 hour window. I don't know if this was incompetence or a deliberate attempt to get me to forfeit my payment.I was also given the option of rescheduling, a fairly useless offer given it might also be full the next time I turn up having booked.After much discussion was allowed to submit a refund request but no compensation or apology for having to drive around the city and pay extra (as I had now missed all the early bird discounts)
Easy and convenient parking. Especially like the flexibility of the early bird parking and night rate. Makes parking affordable in this premium location.
Charged 2.46% credit card surcharge on a MasterCard payment at Frankston Arts Centre on July 11 in violation of ACCC guidelines in effect Since August 18, 2017! read this from the ACCC website "The RBA indicated as a guide that the costs to merchants of accepting payment by debit cards is in the order of 0.5 per cent, by credit card 1-1.5 per cent and for American Express cards around 2-3 per cent." This is a Clear VIOLATION of ACCC policies. You have been reported to the ACCC
Does the job. Despite my hesitations from some other reviews, I gave it a go and had no issues. Parking fee was an expected, and my car was unharmed when I returned after leaving it for a whole day.
Checked the special price before entry but when I scanned the ticket to pay they had charged me $45 more than what was advertised. The attendant and person on the intercom told me that it was too bad and I would have to pay the $64. Even though this total they managed to arrive at is well beyond their advertised daily maximum of $50.
