Fast & friendly service has been had on every occasion I visited here. They offer boxes to carry your purchases home which is obviously better on the environment.
Very helpful staff and a big selection. I was struggling to find the wine I wanted and nothing was too much trouble to go and check stock to get me enough of the wines I wanted. Will be back!
Gormless staff. You get the feeling the staff don't get paid enough to care about customer service. Got very aggressively asked for ID from a team member as I was browsing; they insinuated that they were perfect, yet didn't have their name tag on, going against their uniform policy, go figure. Security always checks regular customers but never the people who actually steal; deterring everyone but the seasoned thieves who know this already, and how to get away with it. Useless.
I can't say enough wonderful things about this store! I'm from NYC and was recently visiting Australia and was told by some locals to shop for wine at Dan Murphy's. We stumbled into this location while in Melbourne and what appeared like a wine supermarket, turned into a boutique experience! Great selections, tasting areas, well stocked, obviously cared-for store with wonderful staff and security. Everyone was eager to help, help us find the wines we came to purchase and treated us as if we were regular customers and not just the occasional guest and passer-by. I want to give a special mention to Coady, who I believe is a manager. His customer service was exemplary and kind and most helpful. I wish we had such a great place in NYC. I carried home several bottles of wine and will think of Dan Murphy's with every bottle through every sip! Great find!!
