Best surgeon and aftercare
I stayed here overnight. The food was really bad, I was asked to fill out a breakfast menu for the next day before my surgery, and next morning a staff member quickly came and said you have not filled a breakfast menu so you are getting a standard breakfast menu. Before I manage to say something she left the tray. The dinner roll was stale and the only think I could it was the cornflakes. The dinner was bland and tasteless. For the money you pay youd expect edible food.
I was born at mercy hospital In 1966 October 9 1/2 pounds . My mother was so happy with the amazing care she was given back then Thank you To the nurses And the doctor that gave birth to me in 1966
Such a great hospital. I came over from NZ & had explant surgery here last thursday & spent 1 night. It was a really nice experience. I had such lovely nurses looking after me & i felt so comfortable here. I had a city view from my window which was nice to look out & see the lights. Food was nice. Cant fault the service here, it was fabulous.
I went on for some major gynecological surgery on the 30th May. From the wonderful nurses and staff in the admissions ward right through to the staff in the recovery area, I have nothing but high praise.I was quite sick on the first night, but the night nurses were wonderful despite having to be woken hourly for observation. I love how the newer nurses are encouraged to do procedures under the watchful eye of the more experienced nurses. I had catheters inserted and removed along with gynecological packing and I never felt any terrible pain or discomfort. On the second night, I got two nurses who I refer to as the "ninja nurses" because they were so quiet and efficient. Hot packs for my back pain were supplied due to my bad experience with morphine. The nursing staff are all tidy, efficient and friendly. The food was OK, but I wasn't expecting gourmet. The staff who deliver it are cheerful. Even the cleaners were friendly.I never had a single person just barge into my room. Everyone knocks and waits until you say it's OK to come in. Sometimes you get what you pay for. This is one of those instances. It was worth having private health cover to get such excellent service.
